Club skaters raised £100 for Sport Relief on 15 July with many members of our club skating more than their required mile. Thanks to Planet Ice for donating ice time for this event. An excellent effort was made by all.

Swindon Opens
Swindon Open Competition is on Monday 25 September 2006. The competition is open to skaters from Beginner to Level 10. Closing date for entries is 1 September 2006.

The annual scooter rally is on the weekend of 26 August, and usually involves the closure of the rink for skating for the preceding Friday and over the weekend.

The Isle of Wight’s entry to the National Team Challenge is available on DVD for just £5.00. Guildford Opens – Results
Guildford Opens on 3 to 5 July saw five IW skaters take podium places.
Yelena Brown was first and Ellie Taylor third in the Willows Cup (B) for beginner girls aged under 10.
