Three members of the IW figure skating club recently competed in an adult competition in Dunkirk, and came home with a clutch of trophies.
The first event produced a bronze medal for Carol Taverner in the ladies free skating. She followed this with gold in the pairs event, skating with her husband Steve Taverner.

The IWID&FSC’s annual Christmas ice show takes place on 12, 13 and 14 December 2008 at Planet Ice Ryde. The theme is The Greatest Show on Earth, and the show will feature performances from the Island’s championship-winning synchronized skating teams.
